Umbrella Girl Pillow Case

This a one of the member, Phoebe ,in the Happy Quilting Group organised this activity. It actually started in Apirl but I didn't have time to start work on it until the last few days to finish it just before the deadline i.e. Today ! This pillow case suppose is a pair but I only have time to finish just one of them. At last, I sumit my project, anyway ! This is my first time to try on embroidery but it doesn't look good, right ?! I guess I have to keep practising more though. The color scheme of this project is mainly base on the first quilt I made. I was so lucky that I can find the background fabric which I used in 3 years ago.

| It was not so easy in the process |
| of self learning but later I |
| discovered a magazine called |
| "Quiltmaker" which has a lot of |
| patterns that I can use from it. |
| At the year end of 2003, I |
| started to self-learning Chinese |
| typing then I discovered from |
| the internet that there was a |
| Taiwan quilting group called |
| "Happy Quilting Group" which |
| was organized by a lady |
| named May. |
| After joining the group then I |
| have made some small projects |
| i.e. cup, doll and tool bag etc. |
